Can’t stop that Limehouse train! Awesome gigs in beautiful venues (Pacific Road in Birkenhead, Derby Assembly Rooms, The Platform in Morecambe, The Palace in Newark etc), boisterous sell-out crowds (Putney, Southend and Stoke…all in a week!!) – you lot just keep dragging the best out of us! A pleasure, an honour and disgraceful good fun in a recession….
Thanks also to all of the great bands that ‘guested’ with us; Saxonized, Vintage, Meanstreak, and Tin Pan Alley all helped turn a good night into a great one. Please show love and check them out when they are playing near you…
NOT BACK FOR GOOD…
Unfortunately, the Derby gig served as our drummer Andy’s last with us for a few months. As many of you will have lately witnessed him sweat and grimace ashen-faced through many a gig, it’s become obvious that the back problems he has had have finally got the better of him. He’ll be undergoing an op soon and we’re sure you will all join us in wishing him all the best and a speedy recovery and return to the kit…
In his absence we have recruited the services of Ian Hawkins, who you may have seen playing with his Floyd Tribute ‘Off the Wall’, US guitar-slinger Adam Bomb, or in one of his many other musical projects. Welcome aboard Ian!
PLYMOUTH TATTOO CONVENTION
Missed us down the South-West? That’s because we’re saving ourselves for the big one, the Guildhall in Plymouth on the 12th of May! Love ‘em or not, ‘tats’ are now a massive part of our culture and this state-of-the art, punter-friendly event might just be the one to convert you – why, Tim is even considering having more hair tattooed down his back! There are too many events over the weekend to list here – check the link below – and evening tickets to see the ‘band only’ are also available at £10.00 for the un-inked, faint-hearted…

SWINDON TOWN
We now have an away fixture (geddit?) at Swindon Town FC for a gig on the 21st June. It’s in the newly refurbished ‘Legends Lounge’ and should be a great night, especially as the team have just been promoted to the Football League Championship!
The club has actually played host to Limehouse Lizzy (with the Groundhogs!) a few years back, and now we are returning for an onion-sack bustin’ promotion party. Bring ya boots, you might get a game!
